Team News

Fulham have recently signed Greek international captain Giorgos Karagounis. He is 35 years old and has earned 120 caps for Greece. He joins Fulham on a free transfer. The midfielder has played for Inter Milan and Panathinaikos in the past and could prove a good addition to Martin Jol’s Fuham squad.

Fulhams other new signing, Dimitar Berbatov, is also expected to start, after playing the final 45 minutes at Upton Park against West Ham.

West Bromwich Albion are one of four undefeated teams this season in the Premier league, and their inexperienced manager, Steve Clarke,  has guided them to a strong start – in fact their best start since returning to the top flight 2 years ago.

Romelu Lukaku, on loan from Chelsea, sat out WBA last game through injury,  but should be fit to take the field.

Analysis Output

Given Fulham’s strong record at home, and also their strong record against WBA at home, we think they should be able to land the spoils. We are leaning towards a 2-0 or 3-0 scoreline in Fulhams favour.

***Result Update***

As expected Fulham proved too good for WBA and ran out 3-0 winners with Berbatov scoring twice and Sidwell scoring the third late in the game.
