Welcome to our preview of the Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City in the Premier League. Manchester City have been in imperious form in recent weeks, but they have looked slightly vulnerable on their travels, and a Tottenham team who have won four consecutive league games under Tim Sherwood will provide a stern test. Tottenham will be at least equally weary of City, though, as they have received some real battering’s from them in recent meetings between the two sides.

Team and Selection News

Manchester City must decide whether to recall the fit again Sergio Aguero to their starting line-up for this fixture. Edin Dzeko has proved an able deputy for the Argentine, but Aguero was playing as well as any striker in Europe before his recent injury, and will probably be preferred if he is considered 100% fit. Manuel Pellegrini must also choose between Nastasic and Demechelis as a partner for Vincent Kompany at the back. Emmanuel Adebayor will lead the Spurs line against his old club, and Spurs are likely to be unchanged from the 3-1 win over Swansea.
